THE TRUTH ABOUT MONEY

There is actually no polite way to say write this, truth is, MONEY DOESN'T EXIST. Okay...calm your nerves down and take a minute to just read till the end. You could say that I am entitled to my opinion...I wouldn't argue with you, trust me when I say that even life proves my point.

MONEY ONLY EXISTS IN THE MIND OF THE POOR

Again, I do not point fingers😃 .

                                                                     CASE 1
When I was much younger, my friends and I will often say that we should always carry extra money in our pocket for miscellaneous purposes. That sounds responsible I believe...but here was the issue with our train of thoughts: we believed that it could be possible to be walking on the road and accidentally push someone's egg crate to the floor, and when that happens, we would then apologize and pay from our extra cash. The issue here is the fact that we:

  • continually saw ourselves walking
  • thought carelessness was normal and permitted, if one has a backup plan
Let's turn the tables a bit, suppose my friends and I lived in an estate where we entered cars to get probably everywhere. This would mean that the only places where we would probably be positioned to accidentally knock down an egg crate will be at a super mall; and I will have to literarily run into the shelf storing or casing the eggs, now I could definitely get arrested and my "extra cash" will be of no use to me.

                                                                   CASE 2
We could all agree that kids love good things, and whenever a child sees something he/she likes, they would always stretch out those tiny hands and give you that look that makes you feel like "the-evil-step-mom", when you refuse to buy it for them or grant them access to it. Now this is a RICH MOM POOR MOM scenario. Once a child sees something that looks like heaven and wants to bask in its glory, here are some of the replies our MOMS's will give
  • RICH MOM- Honey, you want that? Okay gimme a minute am on the phone.
  • POOR MOM- (quickly interrupts her phone conversation) FRANK !!!(in reference to her son) Get your hand outta that glass, you break, we pay and we don't have that money.
  • RICH MOM- Baby that's not for you, it's for much older people, let's get to the next stop, i will get you something more your age.
  • POOR MOM- Dear, this is not for people like us.
Funny how the poor ones always seem angry or play victims. This teaches especially the kids from "poor" homes that the world is very stratified. That there is a "THEM" and an "US". The issue here isn't the absence of money but the life lessons parents unconsciously pass on to their wards due to the lack of money.

                                                                CASE 3
Most young people find it easy to say "I am broke." Now being broke to them is "the absence of money at hand or in their bank accounts." I think they all are liars or are just not telling themselves the truth. Simple examples will help demonstrate my line of thought:
  • Jay complains to his guys about being flat-ass broke in the morning. Sometime at noon Paul comes in to remind Jay of an assignment he has been putting off because of his lifestyle and informs him of the schools new policy to expel all students that have not completed that certain assignment (obviously money-intensive). Jay in less that 30 minutes gets inspiration and ideas on how to raise over $30000 to pay the school. Where did the money come from?
  • Sandra comes from a family which struggled to send her to school, so she is in a way not financially stable. She then on her first night in school carelessly attends a party and 2 weeks later she is pregnant. Sandra will NOT call home but will look for ways to raise money to terminate the pregnancy and cover hospital bills. Where did the money come from?
Now you could argue with me that these were extreme cases right? My issue isn't with the extremity of the cases but with the way these two people inspired themselves enough, to raise money for things they could have avoided.

My point? Simple... It is not a money problem, it is a matter of the LACK OF INSPIRATION
Imagine that both Jay and Sandra took time out to think of something worthwhile, then inspired themselves to raise the cash and get good enough capital to establish themselves.

THE RICH do not carry money around nor are they conscious of money the way the poor are.
CHOOSE TODAY WHICH YOU ARE
REMEMBER :
  • POVERTY IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF MONEY NOR IS WEALTH THE ABUNDANCE OF IT
  • POVERTY IS A MINDSET
  • BEING RICH IS A MINDSET
  • THE POOR SEE MONEY AS THEIR LIMITATION WHILE THE RICH DREAM AND START THEN MONEY NECESSARILY FOLLOWS
  • CHOOSE TO MAKE MONEY A SLAVE TO YOU
