Where the only voice that matters to you is yours and your overinflated mistake of self preference. Here's what your overblown ego wouldn't tell you: that we all see through you, that we know how far gone you are, but somehow still stay because contrary to what you think, we actually love you. Today it felt like I had mastered the trick. I believed that it was possible to care and not lose myself, it worked -- seemed to work for the shortest while, until he found the words I didn't want to hear. It was another sunset, like the many we've shared together. You know blood they say is thicker than water. Most of us will easily agree, but the point is simple. FAMILY IS VERY RELATIVE . People come into your life and most times make you wonder why they didn't come from your Mama's womb. It's okay to be angry. I mean come to think of it, people most times don't get it till your face turns red😡 and the steam pushes out your ears😤.  Here's what they don't tell you, these folks actually enjoy the train ride. Human beings are to an extent, quite predictable, so little wonder why you should be the same right? I mean, someone has to be responsible for everything that goes south in your life. Why should you be at fault? Are they blind? Can they not see that you are the victim? I have often heard people say that they preferred someone hit them to the person using words that "hurt" on them. They can relate to the very sharp and piercing nature of words. You should understand that apart from just hurting someone, words move in currents; currents that could carry someone even whilst the person is not conscious of it. My point... simple... most people now find it very easy to pass hate messages through music. Some others encourage violence and immorality through their songs such that you find yourself dancing off to the beat without knowing that those words are sinking into your subconsciousness. In places like AFRICA, they do not even say anything these days, they just make beats and people dance to their emptyness. When you write songs, do it purposefully. It's funny how we get offended when people have certain views about us.  Are we always the victims? NO !!!  We also serve our own fair share to those around us. Now, I am not saying it is your fault...Our society has just shaped our minds that way. You have just grown up with all the wrong information , and our parents are kings in the art;  Mum tells you "Boys are evil, they only want to get into your pants."  Now you have this very single shallow view of every male that comes your way. "Nigerians are thieves" therefore every black man you come into contact with, whether kenyan or probably a black american; who has no idea how to spell nigeria, is a criminal . When you allow such single views cloud your mind about things and people, you stop yourself from experiencing the beauty life has to offer. PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT. THINGS CHANGE, PEOPLE DO TOO. TRY TO HAVE AN OPEN MIND ABOUT THE WORLD.               ...

Everybody wants to become successful .  Everybody wants to stand ou t.  These days people go on about how proud they are to be independent , and how independence pays off . What they fail to realize is the fact that no man is an island . You cannot become successful without people .  WE ALL NEED EACH OTHER !!!! No matter how great an architect you are, you still need an expert " independent " mechanic to fix your car when it gets bad. Even the President of the country needs an expert " independent " hairstylist/hairdresser to cut/style his/her hair. I know some people have a do it yourself policy . That's okay, but how long would they last. If we really learn to work with people, our INDEPENDENT stories would be beautiful. #onelookatyou

Okay, I get it :( ... you tried. You actually even surpassed your "pushing capacity." ... FANTASTIC QUESTION: WHAT CHANGED ?   NOTHING. Truth is, giving up never really made anyone or anything better. All it does is to push the " worry-date" to LATER .   People say "you win or learn" , and I agree, BUT there is an underlying factor in this statement that many fail to see. NOW YOU ARE ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTION... ;)   WHAT? very simple... CHOICE Before you start any task, be conscious of the fact that your mind already has been conditioned on what to expect as an end result, and whether to interpret it as a WIN or a LOSS . And even it did not go according to plan it is still in your hands to CHOOSE to  LEARN   from  the  experience.  Remember the only person that can limit you is the guy at the other end of your mirror.
