THE BLAME GAME

Human beings are to an extent, quite predictable, so little wonder why you should be the same right? I mean, someone has to be responsible for everything that goes south in your life. Why should you be at fault? Are they blind? Can they not see that you are the victim? Do they need to be reminded that you were the one who:

  • lost your job
  • got divorced
  • lost money
  • got fat
  • has cancer
  • failed the exam (scratch that, was failed in an exam😏)
  • is broke and poor
The list goes on. Have you even paused to see the kind of person you are becoming? Your life is now being run by CEOs you don't remember employing. Really, is that how you want to be remembered ? That man/woman, boy/girl that had no say in the happenings of his/her life? How much longer before they hold a vote of no confidence and decide whether you should live or die?
You need to understand that YOUR life is YOURS. This means you are responsible for wherever you find yourself today. Ever since you started holding "them" responsible for the wrongs in your life, has any of them shown any concern or maybe even offer to bear the consequences of their supposed action with you?
You find out that in the end, you are all alone. This should let you know that nobody is a factor in your life, plus if you put your validation in the hands of others, you will always have to go back to them to get it...and you know you will end up either frustrated, disappointed or both.

Learn to take responsibility over your life, and own up to your actions and the choices you make. Remember, there is no gun pointed at your head, they can only offer their opinions but you have the final say as to what you accept and what you let go.
