GOOD INTENTIONS - A HARMLESS VISIT - 2

Image
...continued from  part 1 The call dropped and Frank sat up on his bed. His mind was still restless from the events that occurred after work hours. The only image that stayed constant amidst his chaotic thoughts was Kaffi. Her beauty still occupied his very vivid imagination; her smile, her eyes, her voice, the way she exuded confidence even when she was being mischievous.  He knew he wasn't supposed to be thinking of her this way, not after what just happened at her place, but he couldn't help it, his thoughts were conflicting right now, and he needed to put them in check before he gets consumed by his lust. Rising from his bed, he walked to the mini-fridge in his bedroom, opened it and withdrew a cold drink to wash down the unwholesome thoughts that paraded his subconscious... it wasn't working. Monday morning came with its usual nagging and longing for more bedtime, but Frank was already used to it. The shrill cry of the weird Chinese melody that was supposed to be his alarm tune never failed him. Now fully awake, he stood up, stretched his limbs, and chuckled as soon as he noticed his breakfast boner. THE LAST WORDS OF A DYING QUEEN

Image
The village was ruled without mercy by a queen whose heart suffered too many aches that left her sore for life. She loved, she ruled , she killed , she saved and all the while felt nothing as the years and broken hearts took its toll on her. The New moon was her last fight, she lay curled on the floor wielding a family heirloom- the defender , a sword that had served kings before her. A sword by which she fell men and nations in their thousands. She was a warrior , she was a lover, war favored her but love didn't. This was the musings of her heart as  Sir. Kipp  stood over her almost breathless body while she sang: Hold my life and tear it apart I can only feel as I die Take my heart and make it stay warm As it burns and I die away Show me love and hate me the same I can only feel as I die ...in love and war Feel free to share your thoughts on this I'm still your favourite writer @klynic
