OPINIONS



Mum: “Sweetheart, don't let the preacher fool you, the idea of God is a fantastic trick.”

Dad: “Son, life has its way of kicking you below the belt. Just accept whatever fate it metes out to you.”

Cassie: “Girlfriend, there really is no love in the world anymore.”

Josh: “Unemployment seems to be the order of the day.”

Friends: “Don't even bother trying, we all tried and lost it all.”

These are some of the words we often swallow from people very close to us.

BUT, have you ever analyzed these words?

Take a minute.....

Two words come to mind.

EXPERIENCE and OPINIONS

People tend to give “advice” and make suggestions on how you should run your life based on their experiences. Truth is, we...blinded by emotions, fall prey to their OPINIONS on LIFE.

Remember, all they have to offer are opinions not facts.


CHOOSE CAREFULLY WHO YOU LISTEN TO.

GOOD INTENTIONS - A HARMLESS VISIT

Monday morning came with its usual nagging and longing for more bedtime, but Frank was already used to it. The shrill cry of the weird Chinese melody that was supposed to be his alarm tune never failed him. Now fully awake, he stood up, stretched his limbs and chuckled soon as he noticed his breakfast boner, reaching for the air-conditioner remote on his nightstand, he turned the cooling unit off, then walked across the room to switch on the lights. After bathing, he got dressed for work and sat down on the bed. Opening one of the nightstand drawers he retrieved his daily devotional which he read before kneeling and praying for a little over ten minutes; fellowship with the Holyspirit was very important to him. Dear Tola,

We fell in love and that was the problem, seeing as we sauntered towards an end that had no beginning. We laced our hearts with a love that was borne of pure lust and eschewed every promissory note of trust. Tee...I'll lie to you if I say I didn't have my doubts when we decided to try.
