THE ANSWER IS "NO"

NO is a word we should all come to appreciate.
I mean, we mustn't always be available at all times even to ourselves.
Saying or rather using the word "NO" can save you a lot of unnecessary regrets.

Now why do we think we have to say YES.... simple:

  • to save a relationship
  • to please a friend or loved one 
  • to have immediate gratification because the thought of waiting any longer to achieve something worthwhile is TIRESOME 
  • peer pressure
  • to not look bad 
For one brief moment, think about that one time you said YES when a NO could have saved you one night of REGRET.

I am not by any chance saying you should turn to a snub :)

Start first with YOU.
Practice saying NO to yourself:

  • NO to that habit 
  • NO to getting angry 
  • NO to being vulnerable 
  • NO to shedding tears
YOU KNOW YOUR WEAK POINTS...CHOOSE YOUR NO CAREFULLY

It would not happen in one day, but keep at it.
PERSISTENCE is key.

SOMETIMES THE BEST WAY TO SAY YES IS A POLITE "NO"
